Newton Abbot railway station serves the market town of Newton Abbot, in Devon, England. It is on the Exeter–Plymouth line, 214 mileschains (345 km) from London Paddington, via Box. The station is managed by Great Western Railway, which also provides services along with CrossCountry. It is the junction for the line to Paignton but, for many years, it was also the junction for the branch line to Moretonhampstead and the site of a large locomotive workshop.
