National Remembrance 15 August 1945

The National Remembrance 15 August 1945 (Dutch: Nationale Herdenking 15 augustus 1945) is an annual event at the Indies Monument in The Hague, the Netherlands, to commemorate the end of the Japanese occupation of the Dutch East Indies and the end of World War II. Taking place every 15 August since 1988, it is also known as the National Indies Remembrance (Dutch: Nationale Indiëherdenking).
