Nadterechny District (Russian: Надте́речный райо́н; Chechen: Теркан кӀошт, Terkan khoşt) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the fifteen in the Chechen Republic, Russia. It is located in the northwest of the republic. The area of the district is 938 square kilometers (362 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Znamenskoye. Population: 55,782 (2010 census); 51,755 (2002 Census); 35,742 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Znamenskoye accounts for 18.4% of the district's total population.
