NIST Historic District is a national historic district located at Gaithersburg, Montgomery County, Maryland. The 579-acre district is a Federal research campus housing the National Institute of Standards and Technology. It comprises 74 buildings, structures, objects, and sites on a landscaped campus. The district encompasses 24 contributing resources, including the pinweel shaped Administrative Building (1965) and the Newton Apple Tree.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2021.
