Mora Namdar (Persian: مورا نامدار) is an Iranian-American diplomat who serves as Assistant Secretary of State for Consular Affairs at the United States Department of State. She was appointed to the position in 2025. Prior to this role, she held various positions within the U.S. Department of State including as the Senior Bureau Official for the office of Near Eastern Affairs in charge of all Middle East and North Africa policy.
