Maria Derisavi of Leonardtown was crowned Miss Maryland 2025 in June 2025 at Maryland Theatre in Hagerstown, Maryland. At the Miss America 2026 competition, Maria placed as a Top 11 semi-finalist and was a Preliminary Evening Gown Award winner.
