Mikhail Efimovich Koltsov (Russian: Михаи́л Ефи́мович Кольцо́в) (June 12 [O.S. May 31] 1898 – February 2, 1940), born Moisey Haimovich Fridlyand (Russian: Моисей Хаимович Фридлянд), was a Soviet journalist, revolutionary and NKVD agent. He served as the editor-in-chief of the satirical magazine, Krokodil.
