Michael Walter Cronin (born July 17, 1971) is an American college basketball coach, currently the men's head basketball coach at UCLA. He was named the 2020 Pac-12 Coach of the Year in his first season with the UCLA Bruins. The following year, Cronin led them to the NCAA Final Four in 2021. He was previously the head coach at the University of Cincinnati from 2006 to 2019. Cronin was named the AAC Coach of the Year in 2014 and guided the program to nine straight NCAA tournament appearances. Prior to joining Cincinnati, he coached at Murray State University from 2003 to 2006.
