Michael W. Pfaffl (born 1965) is a German physiologist and molecular biologist whose research focuses on quantitative real-time PCR, molecular diagnostics, and extracellular vesicle biology. He is a professor at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and formerly held senior scientific leadership positions at the German division of TATAA Biocenter AB.
