Media Play was an American chain of big-box specialty retail stores, which sold music, home video, electronics, toys, video games, books, and board games. It was owned by Musicland, and operated from 1992 to 2006. At its peak, the chain included 72 stores in 19 U.S. states, with 2,000 employees.
