Matt Bayles (BAY-less; born October 19, 1972) is an American record producer, mixer, and engineer based in Seattle. He is known for his work with bands such as Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Isis, Botch, Mastodon, Minus the Bear, Burnt by the Sun, The Classic Crime, Norma Jean, Screaming Trees, Russian Circles, Cursive, Screaming Females, Planes Mistaken for Stars, Sumac. He was also the former keyboardist for indie rock band Minus the Bear.
