Masahiko Matsumoto (松本 正彦, Matsumoto Masahiko; November 24, 1934 – February 14, 2005) was a Japanese manga artist. He is considered a pioneer of alternative manga through his incorporation of cinematic techniques into manga from the mid-1950s onward. His style known as komaga, together with the manga of Yoshihiro Tatsumi and Takao Saito, was the catalyst of the gekiga movement.
