Warlord is an American heavy metal band, formed in 1980 and based in Los Angeles, California. Since its formation the band was led by guitarist William J Tsamis and drummer Mark Zonder.

According to AllMusic, little is known about the band's origins. Despite early appearances on compilation albums, their efforts are considered to have been largely overshadowed by more commercially successful Californian heavy metal bands that formed around the time, such as Armored Saint, Slayer and Metallica.
