Ripley is a market town and civil parish in the Amber Valley district of Derbyshire, England. It lies north-east of Derby, north-west of Heanor, south-west of Alfreton and north-east of Belper. The town is contiguous with Heanor, Eastwood and Ilkeston, as part of the wider Nottingham Urban Area.
