Marcus Andrew Semien (born September 17, 1990) is an American professional baseball shortstop and second baseman for the New York Mets of Major League Baseball (MLB). He has previously played in MLB for the Chicago White Sox, Oakland Athletics, Toronto Blue Jays, and Texas Rangers.

Semien was a All-Star in 2021 with the Blue Jays, when he also won the Gold Glove Award and Silver Slugger Award. Semien signed a seven-year, $175 million contract with the Rangers following the 2021 season and won the World Series with the team in 2023.
