Malopurginsky District (Russian: Малопурги́нский райо́н; Udmurt: Пичи Пурга ёрос, Pići Purga joros) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), and one of the twenty-five in the Udmurt Republic, Russia. It is located in the south of the republic. The area of the district is 1,223.2 square kilometers (472.3 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Malaya Purga. Population: 33,058 (2010 census); 31,558 (2002 Census); 30,849 (1989 Soviet census). The population of Malaya Purga accounts for 23.3% of the district's total population.
