The Macon Pirates were a Minor League Baseball team based in Macon, Georgia, that served as the Class A farm team of the Pittsburgh Pirates between 1984 and 1987. The Macon Pirates played their home games at Luther Williams Field for all four years of their existence.
The team began play in 1984 when the Greenwood Pirates relocated from Greenwood, South Carolina. After the 1987 season, the Macon Pirates moved to Augusta, Georgia, where they became known as the Augusta Pirates.
