M. Anantanarayanan

Madhavaiah Anantanarayanan (1 May 1907 – 18 November 1981), (son of A. Madhaviah- one of the earliest Indian novelists to write in English), was an Indian lawyer and civil servant who served as the Chief Justice of Madras State (later Tamil Nadu) from 1966 to 1969.The Silver Pilgrimage (1961) is his only published novel,which is influenced by Dandin's Dasakumaracharitha or the adventures of ten princes.
