M. V. Subbiah (born 2 February 1939) is an Indian industrialist and the former Executive Chairman of the Murugappa Group, a multi-billion dollar conglomerate based in Chennai. He is widely recognized for his role in professionalizing family business governance in India and for his tenure as the Chairman of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) from 2008 to 2013. In 2012, he was awarded the Padma Bhushan, India's third-highest civilian honor, for his contributions to trade and industry.
