Louis de Watteville

Abraham Ludwig Karl von Wattenwyl, also known by the gallicized name Louis de Watteville (1 July 1776 – 16 June 1836), was a Swiss mercenary who became a major-general in the British Army. He commanded De Watteville's Regiment during the Napoleonic Wars and played a prominent role in the War of 1812.
