The Lithuanian identity card (Lithuanian: asmens tapatybÄ—s kortelÄ—) is an official non-compulsory identity document issued to Lithuanian nationals. It is issued by the Migration department in Lithuania and certain diplomatic missions. The cards were first introduced in 2003.
