List of reptiles of India

There are 847 species of reptiles that have been recorded in India. About 57.6% of these species are endemic to the country (represented by "E"). The Western Ghats and Andaman and Nicobar Islands constitute the major endemic zones, and along with the Himalayas, are amongst the reptilian hotspots.
