Al-Baqi Cemetery (Arabic: ٱلْبَقِيْع‎) is the oldest and the first Islamic cemetery founded by the Prophet Muhammad. Also known as Baqi al-Gharqad (Arabic: بَقِيْع الْغَرْقَد‎, lit. 'The remaining (cemetery) of the Boxthorn').
