Line coordinates

Not to be confused with Coordinate lines.

In geometry, line coordinates are used to specify the position of a line just as point coordinates (or simply coordinates) are used to specify the position of a point. The idea of line coordinates is fundamental to line geometry, which is an approach to geometry where lines are taken as fundamental and indivisible objects, rather than points.
