Leonel Edgard da Silveira Franca (January 6, 1893 — September 3, 1948), more known as Leonel Franca, was a Brazilian Catholic priest, writer and teacher. He received the Machado de Assis Prize from the Brazilian Academy of Letters in 1947, as a tribute to his body of work.
