Leicester (/ˈlɛstər/ ⓘ LEST-ər) is a town in Livingston County, New York, United States. The population was 2,200 at the 2010 census. The town is named after Leicester Phelps, an early inhabitant.
Leicester is on the western border of Livingston County. The village of Leicester is at the center of the town. Leicester is west of Geneseo.
