Larissa Yasmin Behrendt AO FASSA FAHA FAAL (born 1969) is an Australian legal academic, writer, filmmaker and Indigenous rights advocate. She was a professor of law (2001-2018) at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS), now distinguished professor there. She was director of research and academic programs (2001-2011) at the Jumbunna Institute for Indigenous Education and Research at UTS, and holds the inaugural Chair in Indigenous Research at UTS. In 2025 she was appointed as the chair of the Writing Australia Council.
