Lacedaemon (mythology)

Lacedaemon (/læsɪˈdiːmən/; Ancient Greek: Λακεδαίμων Lakedaímōn) or Lacaedemon was the eponymous king of Lacedaemon (i.e. Sparta) in classical Greek mythology.
