La Damoiselle élue (The Blessed Damozel), L.69a, is a poème lyrique, or lyric poem, for soprano and alto soloists, two-part women’s chorus and orchestra composed by Claude Debussy in 1888 to a text by Dante Gabriel Rossetti. It premiered in Paris five years later. Debussy arranged the work in 1906 for soprano, four-part women’s chorus and piano; L.69b is the catalog number.
