Korosten (Ukrainian: Коростень, pronounced [ˈkɔrostenʲ] ⓘ), also historically known as Iskorosten (Іскоростень), is a historic city and a large transport hub in Zhytomyr Oblast, northern Ukraine. It is located on the Uzh River. Korosten serves as the administrative center of Korosten Raion. As of January 2022, Korosten's population was approximately 61,496.
