Kokshetau State University (Kazakh: Көкшетау мемлекеттік университеті, romanizedKökşetau memlekettık universitetı, Russian: Кокшетауский государственный университет, abbreviated as KSU) is a public university located in Kokshetau, Kazakhstan, founded in 1996. It is named after Shoqan Walikhanov.

KSU, being a classical university, has an important social and cultural mission.
