King Abdullah Sports City Stadium (Arabic: مدينة الملك عبدالله الرياضية), known as Alinma Stadium due to sponsorship reasons, also nicknamed the Shining Jewel (Arabic: الجوهرة المشعة, romanized: al-Jawhara Al-Moshe'ah) or simply the Jewel, is a multi-purpose stadium and the main stadium of the sports city located 30 kilometers north of downtown Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. It currently has the highest seating capacity of any stadium in Saudi Arabia, but this will be surpassed by King Fahd Sports City Stadium in Riyadh once renovations there are complete.
