Kim Yong-chol (Korean김영철; born 1946) is a North Korean general and politician.

From February 2009 to January 2016 he was the director of the Reconnaissance General Bureau, the country's primary intelligence service. From 2016 to 2019, and again from 2021 to 2022, he served as the head of the United Front Department of the Workers' Party of Korea. He also served as the vice chairman of the Workers' Party of Korea for South Korean affairs from 2016 to 2021.
