Kholāsat al-tavārikh
Kholāsat al-tavārikh, also Ḫulāṣat at-tawārīḫ or Kholassat ot-Tavarikh (Persian: کتاب خلاصة التواریخ, lit. 'The Essence of Histories') is a history of the early Safavid Empire, written by Ahmad Monshi Ghomi. The last events recorded in the manuscript date to 1592 suggesting a completion date shortly after this date. The copy of the manuscript located in Berlin contains 436 pages on the history of the Safavids from their origins, especially from Ismail I (r. 1501–1524), up to the first years of the reign of Abbas the Great (r. 1587–1629).
