Kelsea Bond (born 1993 or 1994) is an American politician, serving as a member of the Atlanta City Council for District 2 since 2026. They are the first Democratic Socialist of America to be elected to the Atlanta City Council.
Bond was born at DeKalb Medical and grew up in DeKalb County where their mother was a teacher and their father worked for the state government. Their grandfather was a city manager in Macon and Tifton. They graduated from Decatur High School.
After studying abroad in Paris and experiencing the French healthcare system, Bond was "completely sold on universal healthcare". Bond earned their bachelor's degree at the University of Georgia and their master's degree in economics from Georgia State University. Bond was a member of the Georgia Partnership for Adult Education Research advisory board in 2019.
In 2025, they were elected to the Atlanta City Council.
They are opposed to "Cop City" and supportive of expanding the Atlanta Beltline. Bond lives in Midtown Atlanta. They own a cat.
