Kaplice (Czech pronunciation: [ˈkaplɪtsɛ]; German: Kaplitz) is a town in Český Krumlov District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 7,500 inhabitants. The historic town centre is well preserved and is protected as an urban monument zone.
