Kang Ae-shim

Kang Ae-shim (Korean: 강애심; born 28 February 1963) is a veteran South Korean actress whose career spans over four decades across theatre, film, and television. While long celebrated in the Korean arts community, she achieved widespread international fame in 2024 for her role as Jang Geum-ja (Player 149) in the second and third seasons of the Netflix series Squid Game.
