It is programmed as an independent station, with MyNetworkTV airing in prime time (as the service's West Coast flagship). Under common ownership with Fox outlet KTTV (channel 11), the two stations share studios at the Fox Television Center on South Bundy Drive in West Los Angeles; KCOP-TV's transmitter is located atop Mount Wilson.
