Jose Antonio Iglesias Alemán (born January 5, 1990) is a Cuban-born American professional baseball shortstop and second baseman who is a free agent. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Boston Red Sox, Detroit Tigers, Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles, Los Angeles Angels, Colorado Rockies, New York Mets and San Diego Padres. He made his MLB debut in 2011. Listed at 5 feet 11 inches (1.80 m) and 195 pounds (88 kg), he bats and throws right-handed.
In addition to his baseball career, Iglesias is a Latin pop singer, performing under the name Candelita; as a musical artist, he is best known for his song "OMG".
