Jon Safley

Jon Safley is an American musician based in Los Angeles, California, best known as the bassist and keyboardist of the rock band CRX. He plays an Epiphone Jack Casady Signature Bass with CRX. Safley is also one half of the dream pop duo People on People (previously known as The Reflections), with fellow CRX member Darian Zahedi.

Safley was previously the bassist and co-songwriter for Los Angeles punk band The Birth Defects, and drummer of the pop rock band Bleached. He also played drums on Beware of Darkness's single Bloodlines.

Safley released his first single as a solo artist, "6:15," in 2025. Safley's debut full-length solo album is slated for release in 2026.
