John Goff Ballentine (May 20, 1825 โ€“ November 23, 1915) was an American politician who served as a member of the United States House of Representatives for Tennessee's 7th congressional district and a colonel in the Confederate army. A supporter of the Confederacy during the American Civil War, Ballentine was a slave owner.
