Joseph Anthony Bosa (/ˈboʊsə/; born July 11, 1995) is an American professional football defensive end. He played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes and was selected third overall by the then San Diego Chargers in the 2016 NFL draft, where he was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. He is the son of former NFL player John Bosa and the older brother of current NFL player Nick Bosa.
