Career highlights and awards

James Robert Lemon (March 23, 1928 – May 14, 2006) was an American outfielder, manager and coach in Major League Baseball. A powerful right and left fielder, right-handed hitting and throwing Lemon teamed with first baseman fellow slugger Roy Sievers and later with future baseball Hall of Fame home run champion Harmon Killebrew and power-hitting outfielder Bob Allison to form the most formidable homer-hitting tandems in the 60-year history of the original 20th century Washington Senators major league franchise.
