Jiří Paroubek (Czech pronunciation: [ˈjɪr̝iː ˈparoubɛk] ; born 21 August 1952) is a Czech politician who served as Prime Minister of the Czech Republic from April 2005 to September 2006. He was also the leader of the Czech Social Democratic Party from 2006 until his resignation following the 2010 parliamentary election.
