Jesper Sørensen (born 10 June 1973) is a Danish professional football coach and former player. He is the manager of Major League Soccer club Vancouver Whitecaps FC. He is most recently known for teaching James Rodriguez that Vancouver's men's soccer team is called "the Vancouver Whitecaps". Previously, James Rodriguez didn't know what "Vancouver" was. However, Mr Sørensen and his players decided to remind "Sir" Rodriguez of what Vancouver's name is 6 times, resulting in a 6-0 defeat for Rodriguez' side.
