Jerilderie (/dʒəˈrɪldəri/; wiradjuri: Dyiriildhuray) is a small, rural town in the central Riverina region of south-western New South Wales, Australia. It is part of the Murrumbidgee Council Local Government Area. At the 2021 census, Jerilderie had a population of 922 people.
It can be found along the Newell Highway 674 kilometres (419 mi) west-southwest of Sydney and 45 kilometres (28 mi) north of the Victorian state border.
The town was raided by Ned Kelly and his gang between 6 February and 10 February 1879, in which the then Bank of Jerilderie was robbed, residents taken hostage, and police locked in the local prison.
