Jenő Rákosi

Jenő Rákosi (born Jenő Kremsner; 12 November 1842, Acsád, Kingdom of Hungary – 8 February 1929, Budapest, Hungary) was a Hungarian writer, journalist, editor, and theater director. He was a member of the House of Magnates and the Kisfaludy Society, corresponding member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and honorary member of the Petőfi Association.

His family includes doctor Béla Rákosi, writer Viktor Rákosi, and actress Szidi Rákosi.
