The Jaunsari is sub-community of Mahasui people of the Mahasu region found in Jaunsar-Bawar area of North Indian state of Uttarakhand in the western portion of the state in Garhwal Division. They speak the Jaunsari language which is a dialect of Mahasu Pahari and a Western Pahari language as well as Indo-Aryan language.
