Jürgen Schult (German pronunciation: [ˈjʏʁɡn̩ ˈʃʊlt] ⓘ; born 11 May 1960) is a German former track and field athlete and, from 1986 until 2024, the world record holder in the discus throw. Schult represented East Germany in the 1988 Olympic discus competition, where he won the gold medal.
