Iyake Lake is a very small lake located atop the Oke Ado Mountain in the town of Ado-Awaye, Oyo State, southwestern Nigeria. It is just 350m² in surface area. The Lake is often referred to by Nigerians as the "only suspended lake in Africa". It is said to be one of only two suspended lakes in the world, the other being the Hanging Lake in Colorado, USA. However no definition of a suspended lake exists and many lakes globally have similar geological and hydrological traits to Iyake Lake, meaning it is not unique. In an attempt to boost tourism, the lake has been promoted on social media with grand claims of its uniqueness. Hanging Lake in Colorado, USA shares no similar features to Iyake Lake, and it remains unclear why the lakes have been associated in the media.

The lake, fed by rain water runoff, is a naturally occurring body of water, approximately 350m² in surface area, that sits on a mountain approximately 300 meters above sea level. It is oval-shaped and is filled with still, dark green water.
